Donations Needed for Our Shop
All of us have items hidden away in cupboards and wardrobes that we have forgotten even exist. To help you de-clutter Age Concern has a shop where unwanted items can be donated to and then sold to support our volunteers who work with older people in the community. Every item donated to us is important as we strive to raise the funds needed to keep the charity running.
To make a donation either drop it into the shop or call 608 587 538 and details will be passed on to the people who do our collections. Thank you!
Disability Equipment
Age Concern does have a limited supply of disability equipment like wheelchairs and walking frames which are available for people to borrow for a deposit, a weekly donation is also asked for. With Easter and then the summer coming it is important, if you think you will need any equipment, to reserve it as soon as possible by calling 951 318 234 or 608 587 538 and leaving your details and what is required.
Lunch
Age Concern is in the process of booking its next Venta lunch as part of the program for the year. The date will be Tuesday 21st April and the venue is Venta Cozar on the Casares road from Sabanillas. It will be a three course meal at a cost of 10€ for volunteers and Friends and 11€ for all other guests. The important thing is to get the date in your diary.
