Age Concern Press Release 5th April 2018

Estepona and Manilva – Registered Charity 6203

Michael Davis

It is with great sadness that Age Conern Estepona and Manilca has to announce the death of Michael Davis who was best known as ‘Recycle Michael.’ He died at the age of 82, doing what he liked best – keeping fit. He worked tirelessly for Age Concern and other organisations, keen to help who ever needed help. For many years he was the person who did so many of the collections of donations of clothes and bric-a-brac and delivered them to the shop. He maintained the disability equipment, carried out repairs to the shop when needed, and was liked by so many people. Not one to seek praise he kept his distance from the inner workings of the organisation and got on with doing what he did best – helping people.

He will be sorely missed, but what he achieved was amazing. Thanks Michael, you were one hell of a guy and will never be forgotten.
